Sometimes,
insecurity creeps up in our minds pounding negative thoughts doubting the love God
has for us. Of course, we have done
things in our lives that can justify for those thoughts. At times we may feel that God is angry with us, however, that is far from the truth. God loves you, he may not be happy with your actions, but you should never feel that God does not care for you.
Well,
here what Paul says about how we should feel as children of God.
Ephesians 1:11-14 NIV
11 In him we were also chosen,[a] having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
The reality is that we had
nothing to do with God’s plan of salvation, but everything to do with why he
did it. He did for YOU, for the entire
world, for everyone who willingly chooses to accept the gift that has been
given to us through his son, Jesus Christ. His grace is upon us all this is why we are able to receive his blessings. Listen, He predestined
you before forming the foundation of this earth. You see, you did not have a say on this, God
loved you so much that he wants to give you the opportunity to enjoy what he
has to offer you; he wants you with him.
Predestine is the
belief that everything that will happen has already been decided by God and cannot be changed. This is where
faith comes into play, we accept Jesus as our savoir believing that He has
paid/cleared the path for us to be seen as righteous before God. When you act on this, you have been sealed,
you have been given a free pass to Heaven with no penalties. Your sealed is the Spirit of God, how awesome it is to have been given the best pass of your life, and not have to do anything to
get it. It is just a matter of believing
on what God has done for you through his son.
So, the next time you
become doubtful remember your free pass, remember what Christ has done for You,
His blood has covered You for eternity.
Your life is secured in him.
