Faith in Action

Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”  Faith is being absolutely sure, beyond a reasonable doubt, that the faith you have in Jesus Christ will get you what you hope for, which is what God has promised to his children.

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.  10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

So it is with us, God calls his children to follow his path.  A path that leads us to our inheritance, which is the promise we hope for.  As God takes us through our journey, we have to be mindful that things at times can become rocky, although, it does not mean God is not with us.  In the contrary, he has his light over us every moment of our lives guiding, protecting and empowering us.

You see, Abraham did not have a perfect path, he did not know God’s plan for his life, but he obeyed.  He did not know why God had him go through difficulties, but he preserved.  He did not have a plan nor he knew how we was going to accomplished it, but he knew God would provide a plan.  Always, remember that Abraham had tremendous faith without seeing the promise, without hearing the Gospel, without having the written word.  So then, why fret, when we have been given everything with substantial evidence that Jesus Christ will never leave you nor never forsake you, Hebrews 13:5.

We need to look forward to the thinks God has placed in our hearts.  God is the architect and the builder of our lives.  He is interested in every single detail of our life, and he wants to perfect us through his son.  He won’t stop until He gets there.  God at times gives us a glimpse of his plan, but he will never reveal it all at once, therefore, be patient and seek, and know that no matter what you are going through God has the final say in your life.  Amen!
